Training Seminar
Tritium Monitoring & Sampling: Essentials for Better Accuracy
Instructor: Loïc Pierre and Florian Bourdet
Date: Tuesday, September 29, 2026
8:30 - 12:30
Cost: 475€
Cost: 950€ (for 2 half-day sessions)
Prerequisites: Ideally, attendees shall have basic knowledge of Tritium instrumentation. An introduction will cover the basis of "how to".
Description: Tritium is a very low energy beta emitter. Measuring its concentration in gases is a challenge in an industrial environment as lots of external elements can disturb its precise and reliable monitoring. This session focuses on explaining the in-depth working principle of Mirion's tritium monitoring solution, guideline on how to select the proper detector and a good practice guide on keeping your tritium monitor up and running reliably. A part of that session will focus on the HT IONIX tritium samplers detailing the innovative system allowing for long sampling campaigns, unlocking the possibility unrivaled sensitivity.
Who Should Attend: Engineers, maintenance teams, technical staff already working with Mirion tritium instrumentation looking to extend their knowledge or people looking to understand the Mirion experience in this field and how they could benefit from it by getting things right from the beginning.
How You Will Benefit: After this session, attendees will be able to understand the product range, down select a proper instrument for their use case and have in mind key criteria to keep in mind for their tritium monitoring projects
Seminar Topics:
• Learn about the Mirion tritium monitoring offering. What we offer, how and why
• Understand what are the key factors that should be considered planning tritium monitoring
• How to master your Mirion tritium monitor and get the best out of it
